Special Project:

The One Handed Envelope Stuffing Tool "OHEST"

  One Handed Envelope Stuffing Tool
The OHESTwas designed for an individual who only has good use of her left hand. Her daily work requirements include assembling and stuffing mailings into envelopes of various sizes.
We designed the OHEST to work work best for a left-handed individual creasing and stuffing primarily half-sheet mailings, although the tool will work with all standard envelopes from standard letter to full-sheet. We we're striving to create a simple, durable tool requiring a minimum of movements and parts handling.

Creasing a Sheet of Paper

Insert a sheet for creasing into one of the Creasing-Cradles at the ends of the OHEST.

Folding and Stuffing

Use back lip of OHEST to help hold the page while folding.

Use the holding groove on the side to hold the envelope.
The special hollow running down the OHEST is designed to help hold the envelope open with the edge of the papers as you insert them.

You are now ready to seal the envelope.
