Plug this little device into the back of your PC, load the software and you can teach your PC to work like almost any remote control that uses infrared. (If you have to point your remote at the appliance it is probably using infrared.)

This means that you can use your computer as an environmental control center, operating your household entertainment equipment, and if you are using certain X-10 components you can operate lights, doors and a wide variety of appliances.

Since it is a learning remote, you can "teach it" the signals that your device uses by pointing the remote at it and capturing the signal. Our software then allows you to re-send that signal when you want, using the mouse, the keyboard, or any alternate access method.
