The Share-a-Switch lets each switch do the work of two. The concept is very simple, as you use a switch the Share-a-Switch watches how long it is closed. If you hold on long enough it changes channels and the switch signal goes to your second device. Hold the switch long enough and it goes back to the first device.

The timer can be set for anything from 0.1 seconds to 6 seconds. Each channel is electrically isolated so one device can't damage the other. An LED on the face of the Share-a-Switch lets you know which channel your switch is on. A remote indicator light is also available as an option. As always we try to keep things simple, the power for the Share-a-Switch can come directly from a wheelchair, from a wall adapter, or even a battery.

This device was invented for a young man who needed to use his computer and adjust his wheelchair settings from a single sip-n-puff switch array. You could use it to make a single switch swap between your computer and a call button, or between a communication device and a switch operated telephone. For about the cost of mounting a second switch the Share-a-Switch adds invaluable function without clutter or complication.
